Rip Dave Cole, 1938 to 2009

It is with great sadness that we must announce that Dave Cole, or as he was known to many, Grandad Dave or Father Christmas Passed away on october 12th 2009.

Dave will be dearly missed by all those that were blessed to meet him and become his friend.but he will be Especially missed by our group of friends as we did everything and went every where together, Dave was always ready for a laugh and a joke and he loved the fancy dress nights,and he never failed to amaze us with his costumes,

Alot of people always thought that Dave and Tiger were a couple,as they were joined at the hip when it came to rock'n'roll events, and it goes without saying that tiger will miss dave in more ways than others,

Dave always enjoyed his life, and he enjoyed his rock'n'roll up to the very end, his favourite band was Jive Street, and they went to visit Dave at the hospital when they came to bristol to play, and a complete surprise for dave was that Kevin from jive street, and lenny went to visit him the night before he passed away.

Dave's funereal service will be held at the westerleigh crematorium bristol, bs37 8qp on tuesday october 27th 2009 at 3.30pm. After the service everyone is welcome to join dave's family and friends at the bawa club southmead road bristol, for light refreshments, and a celebration of dave's full and eventful life.

May the lord keep Dave close to his side, and allow him to play his Rock'n'Roll that he loved so much as loud as he likes, as Dave is one of the Rock'n'Roll Kids.untill we all meet again,keep on dancin.
